Ore-Ida Crispy Crowns are similar to tater tots. They are made from seasoned, grated potatoes that are formed into a circle shape and deep fried. They are light and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside.
What you need
Frozen Crispy Crowns – Ore-Ida Golden Crispy Crowns can be found in the freezer section by the frozen french fries and frozen hash browns.
Air Fryer – You can use both a basket style or oven style air fryer for this recipe.
How to make frozen Crispy Crowns in the air fryer
Step one: Open bag of Ore-Ida Golden Crispy Crowns.
Step two: Pour the frozen tater tot crowns in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Step three: Cook at 400 degrees F for 5 minutes. Give the basket a good shake and cook for another 5 minutes at 400 degrees F. Check the crowns to see if you would like them crispier. You can add a few extra minutes of cooking time if needed.
What to serve with Crispy Crowns
Dipping sauces: Try serving with your favorite dipping sauce like ketchup, Champps sauce, Boom Boom sauce, Campfire sauce, or Zesty sauce.
Side dish: They are the perfect side dish for things like a chicken sandwich, hamburger, brats, and hot dogs.

- 1/8 teapoon salt or seasonings optional
Instructions
- Pour frozen Crispy Crowns in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook at 400 degrees F for 5 minutes. Shake the basket and cook another 5-7 minutes at 400 degrees.
- If using seasoning, sprinkle on seasoning as soon as they finish cooking. Serve warm.
