This cool mango cocktail is just the drink for a hot summer day. A little sweet, a little tart, these mango drinks can be whipped up in minutes.

Ingredients needed

Minute Maid Mango Punch – This is a great blend of mango juice. You can substitute with another brand like Welches.

Vodka – Use your favorite original vodka or a mango flavored vodka like Absolut, Ciroc and Smirnoff. Also, keep in mind you can make this drink as strong or weak as you like. If you want a stiffer drink, add a little extra vodka.

Lemon Lime Soda – I like topping this cocktail off with Sprite, 7-Up or Ginger Ale for some added bubbles.

Carton of mango punch, can of Sprite, vodka.

How to make

  1. Fill a glass with ice. Pour in mango punch.
  2. Pour in vodka. Give it a stir and top with Sprite. *** You could also place the vodka and punch in a shaker with ice to give it a good mix.

What to serve with this mango cocktail

When we serve cocktails we like to have a variety of appetizers to pair with the drink. Here are a few favorites:

Mango vodka cocktail variations

This is a simple recipe that is wonderful the way it is but can also be changed up for a little variety. Here a few suggestions:

Liquor – If you would prefer something other than vodka you can substitute with a coconut rum or tequila.

Juice – Want to add a splash of color? Add a tablespoon of maraschino cherry juice to the drink for a fun pink color.

Garnish – I like using frozen diced mangos as “ice cubes” to help prevent diluting the drink. You could also garnish with a slice of lime, mango, mint or maraschino cherries.

Big batch – To make this cocktail for a crowd, simply multiply the ingredients below by the number of drinks you need. For a pitcher I typically use a whole carton of the mango punch with 1 cup of vodka and 1 cup Sprite.

Non alcoholic – Want to make this a mango mocktail? Simply leave out the vodka and add a little extra Sprite.

That sounds wonderfully refreshing for the warmer weather. I must get some vodka in as I’d love to try this I normally use gin.

  2. I would love this. I would probably swap out diet Sierra MIst for the 7 up, but I know it will make a tasty cocktail. Yummy.

  3. This sounds like a delicious cocktail. I love mango juice, and it is nice to have a cocktail that isn’t citrusy, as I find a lot of them are. I’ll have to give this a try.
