Ingredients needed

  • Turkey tenderloin – You can typically find turkey tenderloin in a package containing 2 tenderloins in the meat section of the grocery store. The packaging looks similar to pork tenderloin.
  • Olive oil – This helps the turkey cook and holds the seasonings on the turkey.
  • Seasonings – Garlic powder, Onion powder, Paprika, Poultry seasoning, salt, ground black pepper

How to make air fryer turkey tenderloin

Step one: Preheat the air fryer at 400 degrees F for 2-5 minutes. Combine the seasonings into a small bowl and stir to combine.

Step two: Remove the tenderloins from the package. Pat dry with a paper towel.

Step three: Brush olive oil on the turkey tenderloins. Add the seasoning mixture on the turkey to completely cover. I also like to “rub” the seasoning in to make sure they are mixed in with the oil.

Step four: Carefully place the turkey tenderloin in the air fryer basket. Make sure they are in a single layer and not on top of each other. Cook for 400 degrees F for 25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches at least 165 degrees F according to a meat thermometer.

Step five: Remove the turkey from the basket and place on a cutting board. Let rest for about 5 minutes before slicing. This helps to lock in the juices.

How to store leftovers

Store: Let the leftover turkey tenderloin cool a little before storing in an airtight container. Keep in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in the air fryer on 350 for 3-4 minutes or until warmed through.
