My recipe for air fryer kielbasa is a quick and flavorful dinner idea. An easy recipe that takes just about 10 minutes to make perfectly cooked sausage with almost no effort. Great served with a side dish, on a bun, or even on pasta, this is a meal is a winner!

The air fryer is a kitchen appliance that I use every week. It’s a time saver and a great way to get a meal on the table fast and easy. Lately, I have been loving making air fryer kielbasa for a quick dinner or even after school snack and it only takes about 10 minutes.
Having a pack of kielbasa in the refrigerator really comes in handy for a busy week. It has already been cooked before its packaged which makes heating it up fast. The great thing about cooking it in the air fryer, is that it browns up the sausage perfectly while keeping it tender and juicy in the middle.
I like serving it with roasted potatoes, veggies, or even on a toasted bun with peppers and onions for a delicious meal.
If you have another pack of kielbasa, be sure to try this kielbasa pasta, kielbasa and potatoes, bbq sausage, and sausage green bean potato casserole.

How to make air fryer kielbasa
This is seriously an easy air fryer recipe. Follow along for step by step instructions to achieve the perfect kielbasa in the air fryer.
- Preheat the air fryer at 350 degrees F for 2-3 minutes.
- I like to slice the kielbasa in about 1/2 inch circles. You can cut them a little thinner or thicker, you might just need to adjust the cook time.

- Place the kielbasa rounds in the air fryer in a single layer.

- Cook at 400 degrees F for 5 minutes. Shake the basket and then cook another 3-5 minutes depending on preference.

If you would like to add a sauce or glaze on the kielbasa, brush the sauce on after 7-8 minutes of cooking and then continue cooking for an addition 2-3 minutes.
Heather’s recipe tips
- Preheat your air fryer. While this is an optional step, for this recipe I do recommend preheating to get a nice and even cook on the sausage.
- Slice into uniform pieces. I recommend slicing the kielbasa into rounds for faster cooking and to get the delicious crisp edges.
- Don’t crowd the air fryer basket. This will help each piece cook evenly.
- Shake or flip. I recommend shaking the air fryer basket or flipping the kielbasa about halfway through cooking.
Variations
- Glaze: Add more flavor to your sausage by brushing on BBQ sauce or even teriyaki sauce for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
- Sweet: Make it savory and sweet by drizzling on some maple syrup with paprika or cayenne pepper.
- Make it a meal: Air fry the kielbasa with sliced onions, bell peppers, and or mushrooms.

One thing I love about air fryer kielbasa is that there is a variety of ways use and serve. You can serve it with a side dish, as an appetizer with dipping sauce, or incorporate it into a meal on pasta or rice.
Side dishes: I like serving it with things like sauerkraut, crispy oven roasted small potatoes, seasoned rice, mashed red skin potatoes, Texas Roadhouse green beans, and air fryer Alexia sweet potato fries.
Dipping sauces: It’s great dipped in flavorful sauces like mustard, BBQ sauce, copycat McDonald’s sweet and sour sauce, copycat Polynesian sauce, or a hot mustard sauce.
