Crunchy Broccoli and Cauliflower Salad with Bacon is sure to please any crowd. Filled with chopped broccoli, cauliflower, bacon, cheese and tossed with an easy mayonnaise dressing.
One of my dearest college friends was in town visiting us this weekend. We had a blast catching up on the “good ole days” at Virginia Tech and all the things we have going on in our lives now. I love that we can be away from each other for a year and not skip a beat.
Of course when we get together we love to chat over some yummy food. Jay offered to grill some chicken for us (he is so sweet), so to go with it, I decided to make this broccoli cauliflower salad that I have been making for years. It is SUPER easy and SUPER delicious. One of those go-to recipes it is nice to have in your recipe collection.
This Broccoli and Cauliflower Salad with Bacon has few ingredients and can be made in ten minutes. I recommend chopping the cauliflower and broccoli small so it will be easier to eat. I cooked my bacon in a skillet but use whatever method you prefer. Turkey bacon will also work well.
When a recipe has cheese and bacon in the ingredients you know it has to be good. Mix it with crunchy broccoli, cauliflower, red onion and a sweet mayo dressing and you have a HIT! The saltiness of the bacon combined with the sweetness of the dressing is addicting. We finished off the salad between the three of us.
