Why you should try this punch recipe

  • Versatile – This drink is easily customizable to your taste.
  • Fast – Whip this punch up in about 5 minutes.
  • Party perfect – Great for a party, family gatherings, baby showers, or any other special occasion.

Ingredients needed for homemade fruit punch

  • Cranberry juice – You can use cranberry juice cocktail or 100% cranberry juice depending on your taste preference.
  • Orange juice – Fresh squeezed is always great but if you can also use bottled OJ. I prefer using the one without pulp.
  • Pineapple juice – Pineapple juice adds a nice tropical sweetness to this drink.
  • Limeade concentrate – Frozen limeade or lemonade concentrate works well. It add a little tartness.
  • Ginger ale – Make this drink bubbly with ginger ale or a lemon-lime soda.
  • Fruit – Fresh sliced fruit will add color, flavor, and fun to this punch. Try orange slices, lime slices, strawberries, or even pineapple chunks.

How to make fruit punch

Step one: Pour the limeade concentrate into a large pitcher. Add in cranberry juice, orange juice, and pineapple juice. Stir to combine. Optional add in sliced fruit.

Step two: When ready to serve, stir in ginger ale and serve cold.

Substitutions

This easy fruit punch recipe can be altered to your taste or the ingredients you have in your kitchen.

Juice – You can substitute limeade with frozen lemonade concentrate.

Soda – If you don’t have ginger ale try substitute with lemon-lime soda, ginger beer, or just soda water if you want to cut back on the sweetness.

Cocktail – Make it a cocktail by adding in either procecco, vodka, rum, or coconut rum.

How to serve fruit punch

This recipe can be made and served in a pitcher or punch bowl. It makes about 1 gallon of punch depending on how much ginger-ale you add. I like leaving ice out of the punch until ready to serve so that the ice doesn’t water the punch down.

How to store leftovers

Store this punch in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

Recipe tips

  • Freeze – Try freezing your fruit slices before adding them to the punch. The frozen fruit can act like ice to keep the punch cool.
  • Soda – Wait to add the soda until you are ready to serve or drink the punch.
  • Holiday – Turn this into a holiday punch by adding in some fresh or frozen cranberries.
