Fall Soup Recipes
- 1 pound chicken breasts
- 2 carrots peeled and chopped
- 2 celery stalks chopped
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 bay leaf
- 8 cup chicken stock
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 8 oz egg noodles
- Place chicken breasts, chopped carrots, celery, and onion in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Place in bay leaf.
- Pour chicken broth into slow cooker. Set to cook on low for 6 hours.
- Carefully remove chicken and shred. Place chicken back in slow cooker. Pour in egg noodle, cover and cook another 20-30 minutes or until noodles are cooked.
