Fall Soup Recipes

These fall soup recipes are sure to keep you warm and cozy on a fall evening.

Cook: 6 hours
Total: 6 hours 10 minutes
Servings: 4

Ingredients 

  • 1 pound chicken breasts
  • 2 carrots peeled and chopped
  • 2 celery stalks chopped
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 8 cup chicken stock
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 8 oz egg noodles

Instructions 

  • Place chicken breasts, chopped carrots, celery, and onion in the slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Place in bay leaf.
  • Pour chicken broth into slow cooker. Set to cook on low for 6 hours.
  • Carefully remove chicken and shred. Place chicken back in slow cooker. Pour in egg noodle, cover and cook another 20-30 minutes or until noodles are cooked.
