Ingredients needed

Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bars – These are the classic bars of chocolate that are used on these sweet treats. If you like a lot of chocolate and aren’t afraid of getting a little messy, use a full square. If you don’t want a lot of chocolate and a little less mess, use half of that.

Marshmallows – The large marshmallows work well but you can also use mini marshmallows.

Graham Crackers – This recipe calls for original golden graham crackers. You could also use the cinnamon coated or even gluten-free graham crackers

  2. Break the graham cracker sheets in half into squares.
  3. Place 4 graham cracker squares on a baking sheet.

Variations

There are so many ways to change up your oven s’mores. Here are some fun and delicious combinations to try:

Cracker: Instead of using graham crackers try, Ritz crackers, chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, OREOS, or even Fudge Striped Cookies.

Chocolate: Try replacing the chocolate bars with peanut butter cups, dark chocolate, white chocolate bars, Hershey Kisses, Ghiradelli chocolate squares, chocolate chips or even Rolo’s. Really any kind of chocolate will work so get creative.

Toppings: Another fun way to serve these is by leaving them open faced and add additional toppings. Once the marshmallows have browned, leave off the top graham cracker and try topping with sprinkles, fudge sauce, caramel sauce, whipped cream and more.

Recipe tips

  • If you don’t want a lot of marshmallow, just use one large marshmallow per s’more.
  • If you are worried about the chocolate oozing out, use only half of a square of chocolate.
  • Make sure to watch the marshmallows when they are under the broiler. They will brown up quickly.
  • For easier clean-up, line the baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

S’mores dip in the oven

You can also make s’mores dip in the oven.

Use a small baking dish or cast iron skillet. Place a single layer of chocolate chips on the bottom of the dish or skillet. Cover with a single layer of marshmallows.

Broil until the marshmallows start to turn golden brown. Use graham crackers, cracker, or potato chips to scoop out the dip.
