  • Butter – Unsalted butter. I like using unsalted so that you can adjust the amount of sodium you would like. Make sure that the butter is softened.

Freeze:

Garlic toast -If you want to freeze garlic toast, spread the butter mixture on pieces of sliced bread. Lay the bread on a baking sheet and place in the freezer until the slices are frozen. Package them in a freezer safe bag or container. They will freeze for 3 months.

The next time you want homemade garlic bread, place the frozen bread on a baking sheet for 10-15 minutes. Broil for about 5 minutes or until the bread starts to turn golden.
