Easy Pound Cake Tiramisu
Would you believe I only started drinking coffee about one year ago? True story. But now I can’t live without the sound of the grinding beans, the smell and the warm cup in my hand every morning. Ohhhh-yaaa!
One thing that might be better than my daily cup of coffee is this Easy Tiramisu recipe. It is full of MARBLE pound cake and layers of CREAM, CHOCOLATE and of course COFFEE. This cake is a great make-ahead dessert and the cake you want to make if you have friends over. For realz, this stuff is awesome!
I greeted Jay with this easy tiramisu cake when he came home from a business trip and let me just tell you I earned some serious brownie, I mean, tiramisu, points. When we were dating, tiramisu was always our go-to dessert when we went out for dinner so this recipe brings back great memories.
This cake is reeeeeeaaaallly easy. I used a pre-made marble pound cake and whipped up a creamy layer of goodness made with cream cheese, heavy cream and powdered sugar. Kahlua was in my cabinet so that is what I used along with coffee but you can also use rum.
Tiramisu Ingredients:
- 2 loaves marble pound cake
- cream cheese
- heavy cream
- powdered sugar
- coffee
- Kahlua
You probably have most of the ingredients already!

Easy Tiramisu
Ingredients
- 2 loaves marble pound cake
- 2 8 oz blocks cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 3/4 cup strong coffee
- 4 tablespoons Kahlua
- 1/2 cup shaved chocolate
- unsweetened cocoa powder
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, using an electric mixer, beat cream cheese, cream and powdered sugar until creamy and combined. About 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl mix coffee and Kahlua.
- In a 9x13 baking dish, place have of the cake slices in a single layer. Pour half of the coffee mixture over the cake.
- Top with half of the cream cheese mixture and shaved chocolate.
- Repeat layers and end with dusting top with cocoa powder. Cover and refrigerate for 3 or more hours before serving.
