  • Crescent roll dough: Canned crescent roll dough is used as the wrap around the pickle. I like using the Pillsbury crescent roll dough.

Heather’s recipe tips

  • Make sure to pat the pickles dry. This will help prevent the crescents from becoming soggy.
  • Soften the cream cheese. Let the cream cheese soften at room temperature to make it easier to spread.
  • Don’t add too much cream cheese mixture. If you add too much, you might not be able to seal the crescents. I recommend about 1 tablespoon of mixture for each roll.

Variations

  • Ham: Substitute the bacon with chopped deli ham.
  • Seasoning: Add Everything Bagel seasoning to the top of the crescent rolls.
  • Ranch: If you like ranch, mix in ranch seasoning to the cream cheese mixture.

Storage instructions

Store any leftovers in an airtight container or bag in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheat in the oven or air fryer until warm.

I don’t recommend freezing them because the pickles will release moisture and change the texture of the crescent roll.
