Pickles in a blanket are a unique, flavorful, bite sized appetizer. Dill pickles with bacon and cheese rolled up in a crescent roll. An easy appetizer, party snack, and more.

Ingredients

  • 1 crescent roll dough
  • 16 baby dill pickles
  • (4 ounce) cream cheese
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough on a cutting board. Separate the dough into triangles.
  • Cut each crescent roll triangle in half.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, garlic powder, shredded cheese, and crumbled bacon.
  • Spread about a tablespoon of the mixture on the wide part of each crescent roll triangle.
  • Place a pickle on the cream cheese mixture and roll the crescent roll around the pickle. Place on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Brush melted butter on top of the crescent rolls. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve and enjoy.
