What is wonderful about the yuletide season is the air of love, peace, and feeling merry and bright. Making your favorite Christmas treats and creating culinary gifts is a fun, meaningful way to say thank you or I love you to friends and family.

Many treats are quick and easy to make and can be made ahead of time and frozen to save time during the holiday season rush.

But if you love baking as much as I do, set aside a weekend and enjoy making these easy Christmas treats. Whether you have a naughty and nice list or not, everyone deserves some Christmas cheer this holiday season.

    1. Peppermint Bark

Just as pumpkin spice screams fall and the Halloween season, peppermint is the flavor of the Christmas season. Peppermint bark is a fabulous fusion of semi-sweet chocolate, white chocolate, and crushed candy canes. It has a sweet, refreshing flavor that only chocolate and peppermint can create. This heavenly Christmas treat is always wonderful to enjoy during the holiday season.

    2. Snowman Oreo Balls

These are the cutest little snowmen. Mint chocolate cookies are crushed and combined with cream cheese to form balls. Once dipped into white chocolate, the snowmen are assembled. These charming Christmas treats are a fun addition to any dessert tray with their show-stopping appearance. Sure to bring holiday cheer to your next gathering.

    3. Sugar Cookie Bites

    6. Christmas Hot Chocolate Bombs

These hot chocolate bombs are a happy, fun Christmas treat. These wonderful balls of goodness take 30 minutes to make and a few hours to chill. Once chilled, put your bomb in your mug, then pour hot milk over it. Watch it burst into a festive cup of hot cocoa. A cozy, exciting recipe that makes a great Christmas gift for kids and adults.

    7. Eggnog Cookie Cups

The holiday season isn’t complete without these impressive cookie cups. This favorite Christmas treat is a unique blend of two preferred holiday treats; eggnog and sugar cookies. Use a mini muffin pan, bake sugar cookies, then top with an eggnog pudding. A flavorful, delicious holiday dessert that will please your little angels.

    8. Fruitcake Cookies

Fruitcake cookies are a fun, delicious twist on the traditional fruitcake. You don’t have to be a fan of the old-school fruitcake to enjoy these festive cookies. They are their own special tasty treat. Even the Grinch will be feeling jolly after a fruitcake cookie.

    9. Spritz Cookies

Holiday cookies come in many shapes and forms. These traditional spritz cookies are buttery, sweet, and oh-so-good. Even Santa can’t get enough of them. Simple to make in under 25 minutes, they are mouthwatering, marvelous morsels of goodness and Santa Claus approved.

    10. Crockpot Candy

Christmas candy is a treat everyone enjoys during the holiday season. This is an easy recipe since your crockpot does the work for you. Also known as rocky road peanut clusters, these Christmas treats are a beautiful blend of sweet and salty. Peanuts, marshmallows, chocolate, and holiday sprinkles all make these a must-have treat.

    11. Hot Chocolate Fudge

There is something about hot chocolate that feels cozy and soul-warming. Now you can enjoy the palate-pleasing warmth of hot chocolate in dainty pieces of fudge. With milk chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate, mini marshmallows, and peppermint, this is a must-have recipe. These divine morsels of chocolate fudge are a favorite Christmas treat every holiday season.

    12. Christmas Cherries

Cherries infused with alcohol and dipped in chocolate are the perfect party favors for your next holiday gathering. Cherries are soaked in vodka or bourbon overnight, then dipped in white chocolate and festive sanding sugar. These boozy cherries are a fun gift-wrapped treat that will have everyone feeling merry and bright.

    13. Avalanche No Bake Cookies

Your little elves will jump for joy when you whip up a batch of these incredibly delicious cookies. The best part is that they take a whopping 10 minutes to make. Peanut butter, almond bark, dry roasted peanuts, Rice Krispies, and marshmallows combine to make out-of-this-world delicious cookies. As far as favorite Christmas treats go, this one may be at the top of Santa’s list.

    14. Holiday Haystack Cookies

Not your average cookie, this easy recipe takes 3 ingredients and a microwave to make. A unique take on the holiday cookie, you have to give this recipe a try. White almond bark is melted and combined with chow mein noodles and M&Ms. Scooped into bite-sized haystacks and chilled, they are a fun blend of crunchy and sweet.

    15. Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans

Espresso beans covered in melted chocolate are an appetizing, sweet treat. Easy to make, they take 10 minutes to create and are great gifts for the coffee lover in your life. Also great for a light dessert or snack, these chocolate-covered espresso beans are always a good choice.

    17. Grinch Cookies

These are heart-warming, lovely Santa-approved cookies. Sugar cookies in the shape of hearts with red and green food coloring are festive, fun, and tasty. So good, they’ll make any grinch’s heart grow 3 sizes with just one bite.

    18. Easy Reindeer Sugar Cookies

    23. Candy Can Cookies

In the realm of holiday cookies, these candy cane cookies are a delight. Buttery cookie dough has a hint of peppermint and is shaped into cute candy canes. Half the dough has red food coloring, so when they are assembled before baking, they appear like candy canes. A favorite Christmas treat, these cookies are merry and bright.

    24. Christmas Snowball Cookies

Snowball cookies are a great holiday treat. These jolly treats are quick and easy to make with 6 ingredients. They are lovable little cookies that look like snowballs but taste like heaven. This recipe skips the nuts and includes M&Ms for an added crunch of sweetness. Leave these out for Santa, and there won’t be any left.
