Every holiday season, we look forward to our favorite Christmas treats. With Santa’s arrival inevitable, it is always fun to flex those baking muscles and try something new each year.

What is wonderful about the yuletide season is the air of love, peace, and feeling merry and bright. Making your favorite Christmas treats and creating culinary gifts is a fun, meaningful way to say thank you or I love you to friends and family. 

Many treats are quick and easy to make and can be made ahead of time and frozen to save time during the holiday season rush. 

But if you love baking as much as I do, set aside a weekend and enjoy making these easy Christmas treats. Whether you have a naughty and nice list or not, everyone deserves some Christmas cheer this holiday season.

Just as pumpkin spice screams fall and the Halloween season, peppermint is the flavor of the Christmas season. Festive Christmas Treats

Festing Christmas treats perfect to make during the holidays including this super simple Christmas dessert dip.

Ingredients 

  • 1 8 ounce cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup eggnog
  • 3 sugar cookies broken into small pieces
  • Christmas sprinkles

Instructions 

  • Using an electric mixer, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and eggnog until creamy.
  • Stir in broken sugar cookies. Place in a serving dish and top with sprinkles.
