If you want to be the hit of your next gathering, you have to bring this Greek layer dip. It’s one of my favorite appetizers to make, especially when the weather is warm and I’m craving something cool and cream. The recipe is easy to put together and made with layers of creamy hummus, Greek yogurt, crunchy vegetables, and Feta cheese, this dip is packed with Mediterranean flavor and color.

The first time I brought this to seven layer Greek dip to a cookout years ago, it was an instant hit. People lined up to get a bite and before long the dish was empty.

I love that this dip is a little different from a classic Mexican seven layer dip. It’s fresh, light, and perfect to serve any time of year.

  • Hummus: Use your favorite store bought or homemade hummus.
  • Plain Greek yogurt: I like using a full fat thick Greek yogurt.
  • Lemon juice: A little bit of fresh lemon juice adds great tart balance to the dip.
