Cupid crunch ingredients

You can make this Valentine’s snack mix with just a few ingredients.

Bag of M&M's, sprinkles, pretzels, Bugles, Chex, almond bark, and Cheerios.
  • Chex cereal – Use your favorite Chex cereal. I am using Rice Chex.
  • Cheerios – I like using original Cheerios cereal but you can substitute with frosted Cheerios, multigrain Cheerios, or chocolate Cheerios.
  • Pretzels – You can use mini pretzels or pretzel sticks.
  • Bugles chips – A salty chip that is the perfect compliment to the sweet almond bark.
  • Almond bark – Melt the almond bark for the perfect sweet coating. You can substitute with white chocolate chips.
  • M&M’s candy – I like using the holiday variety of M&M’s but you can use the original.
  • Valentine’s day sprinkles – This adds fun color to the mix.

Heather’s recipe tips

  • Use a large bowl or dish. This helps to make it easy to stir the mixture.
  • If you don’t have a microwave, you can melt the almond bark using a double boiler.
  • Stir fast. The almond bark hardens fast so make sure to stir the mixture together right after you pour the melted bark over the mixture.

  • Chips: If you can’t find Bugles, you can substitute with Fritos or even broken Ruffles potato chips.
  • Candy: Substitute the M&M’s with peanut M&M’s or Reeces Pieces.
  • Marshmallows: Mix in some mini marshmallows for an added soft texture.
