Ingredients
Grab a box of Ritz crackers and a few simple ingredients to make this dill pickle cracker sandwiches.

- Bacon: Cook the bacon and then cut each piece into thirds.
- Dill pickle slices: Dill pickle slices or rounds fit perfectly on the cracker.
- Cheese: I use Havarti cheese because it melts well. You can substitute with cheddar, colby jack, provolone, or Swiss cheese.

Heather’s recipe tips
- Don’t use thick cut bacon. I recommend an original sliced bacon so that it doesn’t make the Ritz sandwich too big.
- Pat the pickles dry. This will help prevent the crackers from getting too soggy.
- Watch them closely in the oven. The cheese will melt fast and you don’t want the tops of the crackers to become too dark.
- You can double the recipe for a large crowd. This recipe makes 24 ritz cracker sandwiches.

Storage instructions
Store any leftover cracker sandwiches in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. You can eat them cold or reheat them in the oven at 350 degrees for a few minutes.
I don’t recommend freezing these crackers.
