Ingredients

  • 48 Ritz crackers
  • 8 pieces cooked bacon, cut in thirds
  • 24 dill pickle slices
  • 6 slices Havarti cheese, cut into fourths
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon dried dill

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil.
  • Place 24 Ritz crackers on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Cut the pieces of bacon into thirds. Place a piece of bacon on top of each cracker.
  • Place a pickle slice on top of the bacon.
  • Place a quartered piece of cheese on top of the pickles.
  • Top each with another cracker.
  • Mix together melted butter, ranch seasoning, and dill.
  • Brush the top of each cracker with the melted butter mixture.
  • Bake for 3-5 minutes or until the cheese starts to melt.

Notes

  • Don't use thick cut bacon. I recommend an original sliced bacon so that it doesn't make the Ritz sandwich too big.
  • Pat the pickles dry. This will help prevent the crackers from getting too soggy.
  • Watch them closely in the oven. The cheese will melt fast and you don't want the tops of the crackers to become too dark.
  • You can double the recipe for a large crowd. This recipe makes 24 ritz cracker sandwiches.
