I try to keep fresh veggies cut up in the refrigerator for easy snacking during the week, but I also like to have a delicious dip on hand for more flavor. This dill dip is one of my favorites because it’s packed with fresh flavor and can be whipped up in minutes.

After testing this recipe many times and adjusting the seasoning to be just right, I think that this recipe has a great balance of dill flavor with the seasonings. I do recommend tasting it for yourself and adjusting to your preferred taste.

If you need something to add to your snack plate, this is it! Forget store bought, this requires just a few ingredients and no fancy kitchen equipment.

Bowls of sour cream, mayonnaise, seasoned salt, onion flakes, and dill.
  • Sour cream: You can use sour cream or substitute with plain Greek yogurt.
  • Mayonnaise: Use your favorite mayonnaise.
  • Dried minced onions: These can be found in the spice aisle.
  • Seasoned salt: I like using Lawry’s seasoned salt. You can adjust to taste.
  • Fresh dill: Fresh dill gives this dip great, fresh flavor. Dried dill can be substituted if you can’t find fresh dill.
