Strawberry Blossoms Recipe

These strawberry blossoms are the perfect sweet bite. Mini strawberry cakes coated in a simple icing. If you need a simple sweet treat for a party, bridal shower, baby shower, or holiday, these strawberry blossoms are a must try.

Ingredients

  • 1 (15.25 ounce) strawberry cake mix
  • 1 (3.5 ounce) instant vanilla pudding mix or instant strawberry pudding mix
  • 4 eggs
  • ¾ cup vegetable oil
  • ½ cup water
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 5 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray mini muffin pans with non stick cooking spray.
  • Place eggs, cake mix, pudding mix, vegetable oil, and water in a mixing bowl. Mix together until the ingredients are fully combined.
  • Spoon the batter into the prepared mini muffin pans. Only fill about half way to three quarters full. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
  • While the strawberry blossoms are baking, whisk together powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk to make the icing.
  • Once they have baked, remove from the oven and let cool in the pans for a few minutes. Carefully remove them from the pan and let cool.
  • Dip the strawberry blossom cakes in the icing and then place on a wire rack or parchment paper to set.
