Slow Cooker Mississippi Chicken

- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1 package au jus gravy mix
- 1 package dry ranch seasoning mix
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 8 peperoncini peppers
- ¼ cup juice from peperoncinis
- ½ cup chicken broth
Place chicken in slow cooker. Top with au jus mix, ranch seasoning mix, chicken broth, butter, peperoncinis and pepperoncini juice.
Cover and set slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-6 hours.
Once cooked, shred with fork to serve.
- If you would like this chicken a little less spicy, you can reduce the amount of pepperoncini brine and pepperoncini peppers.
- Shred the chicken in the slow cooker to soak up all of the flavorful sauce.
- Make sure to place the pats of butter on top of the chicken so that it melts over top of the chicken for the best flavor.
