Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon cornmeal
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans crescent roll dough
  • 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
  • 1 (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 ounce taco seasoning
  • 1 (4 ounce) green chilis
  • 1 cup shredded colby jack cheese
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 green onions, diced
  • ¼ cup sliced black olives

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a 9 x 13 baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Sprinkle the cornmeal over the parchment paper.
  • Roll the crescent dough out on the baking sheet. Pinch all the seams together to form a crust.
  • Bake for the crescent roll crust for 8- 10 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes.
  • While the crust is baking, brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Break the beef apart and drain off any excess grease.
  • Add taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water in with the ground beef and stir to combine. Stir in the diced green chiles.
  • Heat the refried beans in a microwave safe bowl in the microwave for 1 minute or on the stove top.
  • Spread the beans on the crust, leaving a little room around the edges for a crust.
  • With an electric mixer, mix together softened cream cheese and sour cream. Spread over the refried beans.
  • Spread the ground beef mixture over the cream cheese.
  • Top with lettuce, tomatoes, olives, green onions, and shredded cheese.
  • Slice and serve the pizza.

Notes

  • Use a rimmed baking sheet. The crescent roll can puff up a little bit so it's nice to have a rimmed baking sheet to keep everything on the pan.
  • Let the crescent roll crust cool a little before topping. This will help prevent the cream cheese mixture from getting too soft.
  • Can be served warm or cold. This recipe can be served either way.
