Equipment

  • 1 Blender

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cubed watermelon frozen
  • 2 ounces lime juice
  • 4 ounces silver tequila
  • 1 teaspoon agave nectar or honey
  • 2 cups ice
  • salt optional for rim
  • water optional

Instructions

  • Prepare your watermelon by removing the rind, cut into cubes, and remove any seeds. Place the cubes on a baking sheet in the freezer for at least 2 hours to freeze. Use immediately to make the drinks or store in a freezer safe bag.
  • Place the frozen watermelon cubes, lime juice, tequila, agave, and ice in a blender. Blend until smooth. ***You might need an extra splash of water to get the drink smooth and slushy. Serve immediately.
  • Optional, add salt to a plate. Take a lime wedge and rub on the rim of the glass. Dip the rim in the salt to rim the glass.
