Chocolate Covered Espresso Beans

Crunchy espresso beans covered in chocolate. Easy to make a great for a snack or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup espresso beans or coffee beans

Instructions

  • Put chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 15 second intervals, stirring the chocolate each time. Keep heating until melted.
  • Stir in the espresso or coffee beans. Stir to make sure each bean is coated in chocolate.
  • Line a baking sheet or plate with parchment or wax paper. Using a fork, remove the coated espresso bean and place on prepared baking sheet.
  • Continue the process until all of the beans are on the baking sheet. You can let them sit out at room temperature to harden or place the baking sheet in the refrigerator to help harden faster.

Notes

  • Chocolate covered coffee beans are the same as espresso beans.
  • Eat these on their own or use to top things like ice cream, brownies, pudding, and more.
  • These are great for gifting. Fill a jar with the chocolate covered beans and share as a gift.
  • If you don't have chocolate chips, you can substitute with a bar of good quality chocolate.
