- 1 flour tortilla
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 15 pepperoni slices
- 1/8 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Place a tortilla on an oven safe rack placed on a baking sheet. If you don't have a rack, you can place the tortilla directly on the baking sheet.
Spread a little sauce evenly over the tortilla. Top with shredded cheese and then toppings of choice, in this case, pepperoni.
Sprinkle the top with a little Italian seasoning for extra flavor. Bake for 4-5 minutes or until cheese melts. Serve warm.
- For a crispier tortilla crust, make sure not to use very mush pizza sauce. It also helps to have the tortilla on a rack or even directly on the oven rack for a crispy crust.
- You can also cook this pizza in a cast iron skillet or on a pizza stone.
- This recipe can easily be doubled, tripled, or more depending on how many people you are serving.
