Ingredients

  • 6 celery stalks, cut into 3 pieces each
  • 1 (8 ounce) cream cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ½ cup dried cranberries
  • ½ cup walnuts, chopped
  • 2 green onions, diced
  • 6 pieces bacon

Instructions

  • Cook and crumble bacon. Drain any excess grease.
  • Rinse and dry the celery stalks. Cut into 3 pieces per stalk.

  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with a mixer until creamy. Beat in the honey, garlic powder, and ground black pepper.
  • Stir in the chopped bacon, green onions, cranberries, and walnuts.
  • Spread mixture in each celery stalk. Eat immediately or store in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Soften the cream cheese. Softening the cream cheese will help make the mixture creamy and easy to spread.
  • Use fresh celery. Make sure the celery is fresh and crispy. Don't forget to clean and dry with a paper towel.
  • Chop small. Be sure to chop the walnuts, cranberries, bacon, and green onions small so that it's easy to spread and eat.
  • Toast walnuts. Add more depth of flavor by lightly toasting the walnuts.
