Strawberry Angel Food Cake Dessert
This vintage strawberry angel food cake dessert is so easy to make and the perfect no bake dessert for anytime of year. Made with just four ingredients, this simple dessert is great for potlucks, cookouts, holidays, and more.

- 1 (13 ounce) angel food cake
- 1 (3 ounce) strawberry JELLO mix
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 (14 ounce) sliced frozen strawberries
- 1 (8 ounce) frozen whipped topping, thawed
Tear the angel food cake into 1 inch pieces and set aside.
Place the strawberry JELL-O mix in a large bowl. Pour in the boiling water and whisk until the mix completely dissolves.
Stir the frozen strawberries into the JELL-O.
Fold in the thawed, whipped topping into the JELL-O mixture.
Fold in the angel food cake pieces until combined.
Spread the mixture out in a 9 x 13 baking dish. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Optional: You can add an extra 8 ounce tub of thawed whipped topping on top of the dessert.
- Tear or dice the angel food cake in about 1 inch chunks. You don't want the pieces to be too small.
- Don't thaw the strawberries. Keep the strawberries frozen.
- Use a large bowl to combine all of the ingredients.
- Let it chill and set. This will help all of the flavors come together.
