Keyword: caramel apple salad, Snickers Caramel Apple Salad, snickers salad
Servings: 8
- 1 instant vanilla pudding
- 1 cup cold whole milk
- 1 whipped topping, thawed (like Cool Whip)
- 5 Snickers bars, chopped
- 4 large apples, diced
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon caramel sauce
Chop the Snickers bars into small pieces
Chop the apples into small pieces and place in a bowl. Pour the lemon juice over the diced apples. Toss to coat.
Pour the pudding mix in a large bowl. Whisk in the milk. Whisk until creamy and it starts to set.
Stir in the thawed whipped topping until completely combined.
Gently fold in the mini marshmallows, chopped apples, and chopped Snickers bars. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. (Reserve a few apples and Snickers to use as topping before serving.)
I recommend chilling in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. When ready to serve, top with remaining apples, Snickers, and drizzle with caramel sauce.
- Chop evenly. I recommend trying to chop the apples and the Snickers bars into small, even size pieces.
- Prevent apples from browning. To prevent the apples from browning, I toss them in a little lemon juice.
- Refrigerate before serving. I find that it is best to let the salad chill for about 30 minutes before serving. This lets everything come together.
- Add toppings before serving. Add caramel sauce and a few reserved apples and Snickers before serving.
