Snickers Caramel Apple Salad

Snickers caramel apple salad is a crunchy, creamy, dessert salad that is perfect for potlucks, holidays, and more. Made with Snickers, apples, caramel, and whipped topping.

Ingredients

  • 1 instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 cup cold whole milk
  • 1 whipped topping, thawed (like Cool Whip)
  • 5 Snickers bars, chopped
  • 4 large apples, diced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon caramel sauce

Instructions

  • Chop the Snickers bars into small pieces
  • Chop the apples into small pieces and place in a bowl. Pour the lemon juice over the diced apples. Toss to coat.
  • Pour the pudding mix in a large bowl. Whisk in the milk. Whisk until creamy and it starts to set.
  • Stir in the thawed whipped topping until completely combined.
  • Gently fold in the mini marshmallows, chopped apples, and chopped Snickers bars. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. (Reserve a few apples and Snickers to use as topping before serving.)
  • I recommend chilling in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. When ready to serve, top with remaining apples, Snickers, and drizzle with caramel sauce.

Notes

  • Chop evenly. I recommend trying to chop the apples and the Snickers bars into small, even size pieces.
  • Prevent apples from browning. To prevent the apples from browning, I toss them in a little lemon juice.
  • Refrigerate before serving. I find that it is best to let the salad chill for about 30 minutes before serving. This lets everything come together.
  • Add toppings before serving. Add caramel sauce and a few reserved apples and Snickers before serving.
