Wingstop Lemon Pepper Wings

Copycat Wingstop lemon pepper wings. Delicious lemon pepper flavor with a butter sauce.

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Lemon Pepper Butter Sauce

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • juice from half of a lemon
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt


  • Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels. Make sure to get them very dry. Pour cornstarch, lemon pepper, paprika and salt into a bowl or ziploc bag. Add in chicken wings. Toss the wings until they are completely coated.

Air Fryer

  • Preheat air fryer for 2-3 minutes. Mist air fryer basket with olive oil. Place wings in the basket and then spray tops of wings with more olive oil.
  • Air fry at 390 degrees F for 8 minutes. Flip wings over and cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Brush lemon butter sauce over the wings once they have finished cooking.


  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Spray the wings with olive oil.
  • Bake for 45 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
