- 1 (14.25 oz) box white cake mix
- 4 eggs
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 (3 oz) instant strawberry Jell-O
- ⅔ cup strawberries, diced
Icing
- 3 ½ cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk You might want a little extra milk depending on how thick you like the icing.
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ⅓ cup strawberries, diced
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Line a 9 x 11 baking sheet with parchment paper. Spray with non-stick cooking spray.
Place the cake mix, JELL-O mix, water, eggs, vegetable oil, and 2/3 cup chopped strawberries in a mixing bowl.
Mix for about 3 minutes or until ingredients are combined.
Spread the cake batter in the prepared baking pan. Spread into an even layer.
Bake for 30 minutes or when an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cake cool.
Make the icing by mixing together the powdered sugar and melted butter.
Stir in the milk. Mix in 1/3 cup diced strawberries.
Spread the icing over the cake.
