- 2 ½ cups complete pancake mix
- 1 lb breakfast sausage uncooked
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ milk
- ¼ syrup
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place the pancake mix, sausage, shredded cheese, milk, and syrup in a mixing bowl. Mix until combined.
Roll the mixture into 1 inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Use a stand mixer or your hands to mix the ingredients.
- Spray the palm of your hands with non-stick cooking spray to help prevent the batter from sticking.
- Form the sausage balls into even sized balls. This will help them cook evenly.
- Make sure the sausage reaches 160 degrees F so that it is fully cooked.
