Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced small
  • 8 ounce tomato sauce
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • ¾ cup Dr. Pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Place the ground been in a large skillet. Cook over medium heat making sure to break up the meat. Once the ground beef is about halfway cooked, stir in the diced onion and diced pepper. Cook until the beef has fully browned. Drain off any excess grease..
  • Stir in the tomato sauce, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Dr. Pepper. Stir to combine.
  • Let the mixture simmer for 10-12 minutes.
