Servings: 12 cups
- 1 (14.5 ounce bag) Bugles chips
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Topping
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 ½ teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Spread the Bugles out in a roasting pan or on a large baking sheet.
Place the butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium heat while stirring. Once the mixture starts to boil, cook for 2-3 minutes.
Pour the mixture over the Bugles. Stir until they are completely covered.
Bake for 10 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking.
Topping
Stir together the sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture over the Bugles.
Stir the mixture until the Bugles are covered in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Let them cool before serving.
- Use fresh chips. I recommend using a fresh bag of Bugles for the best taste and texture.
- Use a large bowl. This makes it easier to toss everything together to ensure you coat all of the chips.
- Let them cool. Make sure to let them cool before serving.
