Cinnamon Churro Bugles

Ingredients

  • 1 (14.5 ounce bag) Bugles chips
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Topping

  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Spread the Bugles out in a roasting pan or on a large baking sheet.
  • Place the butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium heat while stirring. Once the mixture starts to boil, cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Pour the mixture over the Bugles. Stir until they are completely covered.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking.

Topping

  • Stir together the sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture over the Bugles.
  • Stir the mixture until the Bugles are covered in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Let them cool before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh chips. I recommend using a fresh bag of Bugles for the best taste and texture.
  • Use a large bowl. This makes it easier to toss everything together to ensure you coat all of the chips.
