Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 (2.5 ounce) package Buddig beef, diced or 2 jars chipped beef
  • 4 pieces bread, toasted

Instructions

  • Place your butter in a small saucepan. Melt over low heat.
  • Whisk the flour in with the melted butter.
  • Slowly pour in the milk while whisking. Keep whisking and let the mixture thicken and start to bubble.
  • Stir in chipped beef, salt, and pepper.
  • Spoon the mixture over toast and serve.
