Ingredients

Meatloaf

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon Montreal seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

BBQ Glaze

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke optional

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line a baking dish with parchment paper or foil.
  • Combine the ground beef, Panko, eggs, onion, Montreal seasoning, salt, and Worcestershire sauce in a large mixing bowl until just combined.
  • Shape the mixture into an oblong form and place it on the prepared baking dish/pan.
  • Bake the meatloaf for 45 minutes. While the meatloaf bakes, make the BBQ meatloaf glaze by stirring together the BBQ sauce, brown sugar, and liquid smoke.
  • Remove the meatloaf from the oven and top it with meatloaf glaze. Return the meatloaf to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F. Make sure to let the meatloaf rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
