Bratwurst with Pineapple Salsa

Fire up the grill for these bratwurst infused with Yuengling Lager beer and then topped with a sweet and spicy pineapple salsa.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup diced pineapple
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 3 tablespoons fresh minced cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon minced jalapeno remove seeds
  • 6 bratwurst or hot dog buns
  • 6 Smithfield Yuengling Traditional Lager Bratwursts

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl combine pineapple, onion, cilantro and jalapeno. Stir and then place in refrigerator until ready to serve. 
  • Heat grill on medium-low setting. Spray or oil grill grates. Grill bratwursts for 18-20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F. Make sure to turn brats frequently while grilling to prevent burning. 
  • Place brats in buns and top with pineapple salsa.
