Blue Cheese, Bacon and Fig Pinwheels

Blue Cheese, Bacon and Fig Pinwheels are a delicious bite, perfect for any party or gathering. Only 4 ingredients required for these tasty appetizers.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz blue cheese crumbles
  • 3/4 cup fig preserves or spread
  • 1/2 cup crumbled cooked bacon

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. 
  • Spread out a large piece of plastic wrap. Lay out thawed puff pastry dough in the center of the wrap. 
  • Spread a thin layer of fig jam over pastry dough.
  • Sprinkle blue cheese and bacon bits over top of the jam. 
  • Roll tightly into a log and cover in plastic wrap. Refrigerate log for at least 20 minutes. 
  • Unwrap the log and using a sharp, serrated knife, slice into 1/2 inch circles. 
  • Place circles on a baking sheet lined either with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Place about 1 inch apart.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until pastry dough starts to turn golden.
