Ground Beef Alfredo

Ground beef alfredo is a simple meal made with ground beef, alfredo sauce, and pasta. This ground beef recipe is made with just a few ingredients and can be prepared in about 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces large elbow macaroni or another pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 16 ounce jar alfredo sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese optional

Instructions

  • Fill a large pot 1/2 full with water. (At least 4 cups of water.) Bring the water to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon salt to the boiling water. Add the pasta and boil according to package directions. Once pasta has finished cooking, drain off the water.
  • While the pasta is boiling, cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Make sure to break up the beef while cooking. Cook until it's browned.
  • Stir in Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon salt, ground black pepper, diced onion and cook for 1-2 minutes. Stir in minced garlic. Stir in the creamy alfredo sauce and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until warmed through.
  • Pour the drained, cooked pasta into the sauce mixture. Optional - Top with grated parmesan cheese. Serve warm.
