Ingredients

  • 15 ounces hash browns thawed
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • Heat the waffle iron.
  • Mix hash browns, cheese, melted butter, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  • Spray the waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. Spoon the hash brown mixture on the iron and close. Cook until golden brown, about 10 minutes.
  • Serve warm. If making these for a crowd, turn the oven on 200 degrees F and place finished waffles on a baking sheet in the oven to keep warm until ready to serve.
