Ingredients

  • 2 English muffins split in half
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 sausage patties
  • 2 slices American cheese
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven broiler. Spread butter on each English muffin. Place the muffins on a baking sheet, butter side up. Broil for 2-3 minutes or until toasted.

Eggs

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Spray metal biscuit cutters, canning lid, or egg rings with non-stick cooking spray. Place in the skillet. Pour a teaspoon of water in the center of each ring and then crack an egg on top of the water in the center of the ring. You can break the yolks with a fork or spoon.
  • Place a lid over the skillet and cook the eggs until set for about 3 minutes.

Sausage

  • Carefully remove the eggs from the skillet. Cook the sausage patties in the same skillet.

Assemble

  • Start with the bottom of the toasted English muffin. Add on cheese, sausage, then egg, and finally the top of the English muffin.
