Ingredients

  • 1 rutabaga
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon unsalted butter

Instructions

  • Clean, peel, and dice rutabaga into cubes.
  • Place the cubed rutabaga into a saucepan. Cover with cold water.
  • Bring the water to a boil and boil the rutabaga for about 20 minutes or until fork tender.
  • Drain the water and season rutabaga with salt, pepper, and butter.
