Ground Beef Taco Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 8 ounce cream cheese softened
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can Rotel
  • 2 envelopes taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese optional
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce optional
  • sliced black olives
  • diced tomatoes
  • diced green onions

Instructions

  • Using an electric mixer, mix together softened cream cheese, sour cream, and one envelope of taco seasoning. Spread into a 9 x 9 baking dish and then store in the refrigerator while cooking the meat.
  • Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook until meat has browned and cook through.
  • Drain off excess grease.
  • Stir in the other envelope of taco seasoning and the can of Rotel. Stir to combine.
  • Layer the beef over the cream cheese mixture. Add your favorite taco toppings over the ground beef layer and serve with tortilla chips.
