Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 onions
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/8 cup flat leaf parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Place butter in skillet over medium heat. Add diced onions. Saute for approximately 3-4 minutes.
  • Turn heat to low and let onions cook for about 30 minutes or until golden brown. Make sure to stir every 4-5 minutes so they don't stick to pan.
  • Once cooked, remove from heat and let onions cool.
  • In a large bowl, mix together sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir in onions and parsley. Serve or refrigerate.
