Spaghetti Pasta Salad
Cold spaghetti pasta salad is an easy, retro recipe full of spaghetti noodles, veggies, and flavorful dressing. A delicious side dish great for potlucks, cookouts, and more.

- 1 pound spaghetti (I like using thin spaghetti.)
- 1 teaspoon salt (Add to the boiling water.)
- 1 English cucumber, chopped small
- 2 bell peppers, diced small
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2.25 ounce sliced black olives, drained
- 2 tablespoons McCormicks Salad Supreme
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ¼ cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 16 ounces Italian dressing
Bring a large pot of water plus the 1 teaspoon of salt to a boil. Break the spaghetti noodles in half and add to the boiling water.
Boil until al dente, about 7 minutes or according to the package directions.
Drain the water off of the spaghetti noodles. Rinse the noodles with cold water.
Place the drained spaghetti noodles in a 9 x 13 baking dish or a large bowl.
Stir in the Salad Supreme seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss to completely combine.
Add in the cucumbers, bell peppers, tomatoes, and olives. Toss to combine.
Top with the parmesan cheese. Pour in the Italian dressing. ***I recommend starting with half of the bottle. Toss to coat the pasta and add more dressing as desired.
- Break the spaghetti in half before cooking. I find breaking up the noodles helps to make this cold spaghetti salad easier to eat.
- Make sure to cook the spaghetti to al dente. This will help the noodles hold up to the other ingredients.
- Rinse the spaghetti with cold water after it has cooked. This will stop the cooking process and help to cool the pasta down.
- Start with half a bottle of Italian dressing. I recommend starting with adding half of the bottle of dressing. You can add more to your preference.
- Let it chill. Chilling in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes will give the pasta salad time to develop the flavors.
