Root Beer Float Cake

Cake
- 13.25 ounce box vanilla cake mix
- 12 ounce root beer
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
Root Beer Glaze
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- ¼ cup root beer
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13 baking pan with non stick cooking spray.
Mix together the cake mix, root beer, eggs, vegetable oil, root beer extract, and root beer until just combined.
Spread the batter out in the prepared baking dish. Bake for 30 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Let the root beer cake completely cool.
Make the root beer glaze by mixing together powdered sugar and root beer.
Spread the glaze over the cake and let the glaze set before slicing.
If you like, you can top with a dollop of whipped cream or Cool whip for extra "float" flavor.
