Mississippi Sloppy Joes

Mississippi sloppy joes are a wonderful combination of Mississippi pot roast and classic sloppy joes. An easy ground beef dinner that can be served in a variety or ways.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • ½ cup onions, diced
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 1 (1 ounce) au jus
  • 1 (1 ounce) ranch seasoning
  • ½ cup pepperoncinis
  • ½ tablespoon pepperoncini juice

Instructions

  • Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain off any excess grease. Stir in the onions and cook another 1-2 minutes.
  • Mix in the au jus, ranch seasoning, beef broth, pepperoncini juice, and sliced pepperoncinis. Let cook for another 4-5 minutes or until the mixture starts to thicken.
  • Seve warm.

Notes

  • Use lean ground beef and crumble it well.
  • If you don't want any spicy flavor, leave out the pepperonicini juice.
