Hot Ham and Cheese Pinwheels

Hot ham and cheese pinwheels are a warm, delicious bite made from deli ham and cheese rolled up in pizza dough. These are perfect for a meal or appetizer, they are always a hit with family and friends.

Ingredients

  • 1 (13.8 ounce) pizza dough (Like Pillsbury Pizza Crust)
  • 12 slices deli ham
  • 12 slices sliced Swiss cheese
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon poppyseeds

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9 x 13 baking dish with parchment paper lightly sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Dust your work surface with flour. Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle.
  • Lay ham slices on top of the pizza dough. Lay Swiss cheese slices on top of the ham.
  • Tightly roll the pizza dough into a long log shape.
  • Slice the log into 12 pieces. Place the pinwheels in the prepared baking dish.
  • In a saucepan, warm butter, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce,Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and poppyseeds over medium heat until the butter melts and sugar dissolves.
  • Brush the mixture over each of the tops of the pinwheels,
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature.
