- 1 bunch celery, clean and dry celery stalks
- 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
- green olives stuffed with pimentos
- 1 teaspoon olive brine
- ΒΌ teaspoon garlic powder
- β
salt
- β
ground black pepper
Clean and dry the celery stalks. Cut off the ends of the celery stalks. Depending on the size of celery stick you would like, cut each celery stalk in 2 or 3 pieces.
Add the softened cream cheese, olive brine, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix with an electric mixer until creamy.
Stir in the chopped green olives.
Fill each celery stalk with cream cheese mixture.
Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to eat.
- Choose fresh, crisp celery. Fresh celery will give you the best texture and can hold up to the cream cheese.
- Make sure to dry the celery well after washing it. This helps the celery to stay crisp and not become soggy.
- Soften the cream cheese for a smooth, creamy filling. For the perfect, creamy filling, make sure to soften the cream cheese.
- Chill before serving. I recommend chilling the stuffed celery before serving to let the flavors come together.
