Easy chocolate dump cake is made with just a few ingredients. A rich, fudgy chocolate cake that can be made in about 30 minutes. With the help of cake mix and pudding mix this chocolate pudding cake is so easy to make and is perfect for any occasion.

- 1 (13.25 ounce) boxed chocolate cake mix
- 1 (3.5 ounce) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 ½ cups milk
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (12 ounce) bag semi sweet chocolate chips
Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Pour the cake mix and pudding mix in the baking dish.
Pour the milk in the baking dish.
Pour the cooled, melted butter in the baking dish. Whisk all of the ingredients together until combined.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the cake. Bake for 30 minutes or until the cake is set.
- Use instant pudding mix, NOT the cook and serve.
- Let the melted butter cool for a few minutes. Make sure to let the butter cool off a little before mixing it in with the milk. This will help prevent curdling.
- You can serve this cake warm or at room temperature. I prefer this cake served warm but it can also be served at room temp.
