Copycat Popeye's Blackened Ranch

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1 tablespoon blackened seasoning
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Place mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, parsley, dill, blackened seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Whisk together until fully combined.
  • Cover the bowl or place the sauce in an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Notes

  • Like a thicker sauce? You can add a little extra mayonnaise. Want the sauce to be thinner for salad dressing? Add another 2 tablespoons of buttermilk.
  • You can substitute the dried parsley and dried dill with prepackaged ranch seasoning.
  • You can substitute dried parsley and dill with fresh parsley and dill herbs.
  • The blackened seasoning gives this blackened ranch recipe some heat but if you want it even spicier, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes.
