Cinnamon Sugar Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 1 bag popped popcorn or about 8 cups popped popcorn
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  • Pop one bag of popcorn in the microwave. Carefully remove from the microwave and pour the popcorn on the lined baking sheet. Remove any uncooked popcorn kernels.
  • Place butter in a small saucepan. Add in sugar and cinnamon. Heat over medium heat. Stir until the butter is melted.
  • Drizzle the butter mixture over the popcorn and toss the popcorn to coat.
  • Bake for the popcorn for 10 minutes. Remove, let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

    • If you want your popcorn extra sweet, you can double the butter, sugar, cinnamon glaze.
    • Don't want to use the stove? You can melt the butter, sugar, cinnamon mixture in a bowl in the microwave.
    • Feeding a crowd? This makes about 8 cups of popcorn. You can easily double the whole recipe if you have more people to serve or want leftovers.
    • Use your favorite popcorn. If you don't like butter flavor, use plain popcorn.
    • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
